		In January of 2004 the SLA hosted it's first annual service delivery symposium, an invited consultation day with a small group of providers, policy-makers and representatives from across the child-serving sectors and from within various Ontario communities. The intent of these day-long sessions is to provide a forum for the discussion of high-level and cross-cutting themes relevant to the goals and mission of the Alliance , and to produce a set of recommendations that will serve as the basis of a consultation session with the broader SLA membership at the annual meeting in May.

		This year's annual conference consists of presentations that focus on engaging participants in a critical examination and discussion of the progress we have made in improving the integration of services for children and youth since the inception of the new Ministry of Children and Youth Services in 2003.
